Heráclito Everson Biscaia Filho from Brazil made his 13th blood donation at Nanshan Blood Donation Station on Friday. After Shenzhen Daily reported his 34th donation at the end of last year, the frequent donor did it again 13 times in 2022. He has been giving blood in Shenzhen since 2013. ?

On Dec. 18, a total of 16,000 runners participated in the 2022 Nanshan Half Marathon. At 8 a.m. at the starting line at the east gate of Shenzhen Talent Park, the runners were led by Huang Xiangyue, head of Nanshan District and Chinese badminton legendary Lin Dan, also known as “Super Dan,” who is the ambassador of Nanshan’s public fitness promotion. The 21.0975-kilometer seaside route ended at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center.
